well here it is, finally. unfortunately, full-viewing won't really allow you to see this any better, i have a crappy 72-res digicam, and can't afford better right now. okay, here's the rundown: in case you don't know, this is matsumoto hideto, aka hide, former guitarist for x japan, and frontman of saber tiger, spread beaver, and zilch. rip 5/98. while this isn't technically a drawing, (as there was no base contour laid down before the ink), i wasn't sure what else to put it under. this is done in pointillism, from a photo (YOU trying doing observational pointillism and keeping your subject sitting still for 60-80 hours......sheesh), all done in entirely in prismacolor markers, only 6 hues used. no pencil sketch or sighting and measuring allowed AT ALL (this was my final for a class) took me about 80 hours, over the course of one week. this was one of my "happy accidents" a do-it-yourself haircut masterpiece. move over, paul mitchell. oh, and original image is (C)........Sony, i believe. I may try to get their permission for distribution, but i doubt i'll get it and i could make so much money off this damn thing.....*sighs*
okay, i lied, the full view allows you to see the dots a LITTLE better...............

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
A Zen feature for you restless souls out there. A collection of specially selected photographs from nov - des, show them some love And remember, being an artist is not just about producing art, but about appreciating other peoples artwork to
